Craig Zackey and Serino Moodley both rode individual doubles at the Vaal on Tuesday.
Zackey is one of the favourites for the title and Moodley is the dark horse as he is right near the top and is an ever improving jockey, who is more and more sought after.
Zackey joined Muzi Yeni on the top of the table with 15 wins apiece for the season.
His strike rate after Tuesday’s meeting was 15.79% to Yeni’s 20.27%.
Moodley was just one win behind them and had done it at a strike rate of 20.27%.
