Garth Puller sent out a treble today, with the first two ridden by Siphesihle Hlengwa, while the third one gave apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto his first ever winner in his 17th race ride.
Puller goes to 16 wins for the season at a strike rate of 18.39% and this puts him five wins clear of second-placed Peter Muscutt on the KZN Trainers log.
Hlengwa is on nine wins at 14.29%.
