The Brett and James Crawford-trained Pomodoro’s Jet proved to be well handicapped in the postponed Grand Heritage, run on Tuesday at the Vaal, as a former Cape Town-based horse with a likely suppresssed merit rating. He duly won his third run after a layoff in dominating fashion, winning by and 5,50 lengths from the Lucky Houdalakis-trained Master Christmas with the Phillip and Jeannique Vermeulen-trained Slinky Mapimpi next best followed by the SEan Tarry-trained Silver Turdor and the Crawford-trained Raddicchio.
