Tony Peter sent out a treble at the Vaal today and two of them were ridden by Andrew Fortune.

Muzi Yeni, Malesela Katjedi and Calvin Habib also rode doubles.

Malesela Katjedi’s double included a win on the Brett Webber-trained Blind Ambition, a promising three-year-old filly who has two wins and a second in three starts on the Highveld.

Peter is now on 66 wins and has achieved it at a strike rate of 16.34%.

Fortune is on 10 wins at 15.15%.

Yeni is on 114 wins at 13.87%.

Habib is on 62 wins at 8.99%.

Katjedi is on 14 wins at 3.95%.

Craig Zackey leads the jockeys championship on 187 wins, nine clear of Richard Fourie and Gavin Lerena, who are both on 178 wins apiece.
