The Mike Destombes own-bred filly Platina Princess (Danon Platina), trained by Mike de Kock and ridden by Craig Zackey, won in impressive fashion over 1450m at Turffontein Standside today.
Kabelo Matsunyane, Mike de Kock and Sean Tarry all had doubles at Turffontein Inside today.
The highlight of the day was a breathtaking performance put in by the De Kock-trained Mike Destombes homebred Danon Platina filly Platina Princess, who despite being the only two-year-old in a fillies and mares maiden and it being only her second career start, obliterated them by 6,20 lengths under Craig Zackey.
Matsunyane goes to 81 wins at a strike rate of 9.65%.
De Kock goes to 39 wins for the season at 11.54%.
Tarry goes to 71 wins at 15.60%.
