Master Archie
Master Archie will be an interesting addition to the country’s stallion force being a third generation Computaform Sprint winner.
Both his sire Rafeef and Rafeef’s dam National Colour won the Computaform Sprint too.
National Colour was a phenomenal filly who had exceptional early pace and the ability to kick on and, considering she finished a narrow second in the Group 1 Nunthorpe in the UK, she could well be the best sprinting filly South Africa ever produced.
Master Archie is out of eight-time winning Listed-winning sprinter by Var, La Volta, so his pedigree is packed with speed.
He won seven races in 16 starts and besides the Grade 1 Computaform Sprint he also won the Grade 3 Man ‘O War Sprint.
However, he also has class in his pedigree because his second dam Sarabande won the Grade 1 Majorca and produced Grade 2 winners Chesalon and Mardi Gras.
