John Freeman has reported Klawervlei Stud-based July and Met-winning hero Kommetdieding to be showing all the signs of excellent fertility.
“Kommetdieding is firing on all cylinders and apart from missing his very first mare (she didn’t ovulate so not his fault) he has had all of his next four mares tested in foal with many more to test.
He is very fertile and doing the job.
John Koster says he is a true professional in the breeding shed.
Very good at the job and efficient in covering.”
Freeman reminded shareholders that there are few at stud with Kommet’s racing prowess.
He won his only start at two years over 1200m and then rocketed himself to stardom, winning the Durban July as a three-year-old and he then reaffirmed his supremacy as a four-year-old, beating Jet Dark and Linebacker in the Cape Met.
