One of the world’s most famous horse races and the world’s biggest single day betting event, the Grand National, has its 178th running at Aintree on Saturday.
Tiger Roll, who won in 2018 and 2019, became the first to win back to back Grand Nationals since the legendary Red Rum did so in 1973 and 1974 before adding a third in 1977.
Nick Rockett will be out to win the big race back to back this year.
I Am Maximus is the other previous winner in this year’s field.
He won in 2024 and was runner up last year.
