Hewitson Makes It Two From Two On Win Method
Lyle Hewitson rode the second leg of a four-timer for trainer Danny Shum at Happy Valley on Wednesday when he got the favourite Win Method home in a Class 4 event over 1650m.
Hewitson took over the ride on Win Method this month and today made it two from two for the partnership.
Hewitson is now on 22 wins for the season which puts him in tenth place on the Hong Kong log.
Zac Purton is out on his own in front on 91 wins.
Hugh Bowman rode a treble on Wedneday to go to 44 wins.
Andrea Atzeni is next on 41 wins.
Hewitson’s two SAJA graduate colleagues Luke Ferraris and Karis Teetan are on 27 and 25 wins respectively.
