R1 CONSIGLIERE (1) is improving quickly, nearly won last time and should be very hard to beat. ELLORIX (3) can be forgiven for her last run and judged on solid earlier form – strong each way chance. WAR SWORD (4) is way better than his last run suggests but is testing out patience for the victory – place chance. STATESMAN (5) should improve on his disappointing last effort. A must for all bets.
R2 LA PEQUENITA (2) nearly won her local debut finishing a close third behind Fanny Kemble and rates the one they all have to worry about the most – bright win. ELUSIVE MATA (1) is well tried but should win soon. Strong each way chance. VINTAGE CRYSTAL (4) is improving locally and should go close. A must for all bets. SEASIDE TRIP (5) is a must for the quartet.
R3 POTENT CAPTAIN (5) showed last time that he is itching for the victory. It is either today or might battle in future. Strong win selection. SPECMAGIC (2) is running well but becoming costly to follow – each way chance. KING OF QUEEN (1) keeps running second and has a strong place chance. MAGIC PRINCE (4) is never far off and is a must for the quartet.
R4 SOFT TOUCH (8) is improving quickly, gets a very light weight and could prove tough to oppose. HEKNOWS (2) is never far off the action and can-do way better than he has been recently. JOSI MO (3) and HEAD GARDENER (4) are naturals for the quartet.
R5 MISS SHAIVI (2) is taking time to win again but her last run showed that the next victory is near. Bright winning chance. JADE’S CABERNET (3) is in mustard form and has to be taken seriously and included in all bets – strong each way. THE LADY LOVE (4) has a strong place chance and GLOBAL GODDESS (7) is the value for the trifectas and quartets.
R6 ANUSCHKA’S WORLD (4) is a two-year-old against older rivals but he clearly has ability and might have plenty more to offer. He is the firm first choice. RUSSIAN EMPIRE (9) placed at long odds last time and can place again, if that was not a flash in the pan run. MR BODACIOUS (6) is never far adrift the winners and must be factored into most bets. NOTORIX (3) has a huge place chance.
R7 AMERICAN DREAM (1) boasts solid and very useful form, gets valuable weight off from an in-form apprentice and is the firm first suggestion. ARTURO (5) is banging at the door by finishing second in his last two and can go one more. Big runner. LT ALEXANDER (2) is a tad erratic but has a bright chance here on best form – strong place contender. SI GIOCA (4) is taking time for the next win but is consistent and a must for everything.
R8 CALL TO GLORY (6) is a recent maiden winner, but did it in fine fashion. It would be no shock if she were to follow up. Respect and include. Stable companion CAN’T SAY NO (4) brings solid form to the race and therefore a very solid chance too. CUE THE REBEL (5) caught the eye last time and can get closer and DEMIGO (2) ran a cracker last time and is a must for the quartet.
