Daniel Muscutt’s ride on Double Superlative in the WSB Cape Town Met received the most votes in the first Emperor’s Palace Ride Of The Month competition.
Piere Strydom, Aldo Domeyer, Sean Veale and Serino Moodley were the other nominees.
There was a lucky draw for all those who voted for Daniel and the winner was Andy Turk.
He wins a one night stay at the four star Peermont Mondior Hotel at the Emperor’s Palace with bed and breakfast included.
Meanwhile, submissions for best rides for the month of February must please be sent in i.e. if a ride impresses you please send an email to editor@turftalk.co.za with the name of the jockey, the name of the horse and the date and the ride will then be considered as one of the five nominations for the Emperor’s Palace Ride Of The Month for February.
