Alan Greeff is officially the East Cape Champion trainer again, a title he last won in the 2020/2021 season.
He only had one winner today (Monday), but Gavin Smith’s double was not enough to bridge the six win gap that had existed before the meeting started.
Greeff ends the season on 139 wins which he has achieved at a strike rate of 15.38%.
Smith’s double saw him end the season on 134 wins at 11.42%.
Sharon Kotzen scored a double too today to end the season on 41 wins at 9.45%.
Chase Maujean and Marco van Rensburg also scored doubles.
Maujean goes to 67 wins at 6.01%.
Van Rensburg is on 36 wins at 8.63%.
