The National Horseracing Authority confirms that our Chief Stipendiary Steward in KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Deanthan Moodley, who commenced his career with the NHA as a Stipendiary Steward in Johannesburg in 2015 and was appointed as the Chief Stipendiary Steward in KwaZulu-Natal on 1 November 2019, has tendered his resignation and as a result will leave the employ of the NHA on 2 February 2022, to take up a Stipendiary Steward position in Mauritius later this month.

The National Horseracing Authority is pleased to announce that Mr Ryan Hutcheson, who is the current Deputy Chief Stipendiary Steward in Central Provinces, will officially assume his new position as Chief Stipendiary Steward KwaZulu-Natal with effect from 1 February 2022.

Mr Hutcheson, who commenced his career with the NHA as a Stipendiary Steward in Central Provinces on 1 June 2015, was appointed as the Deputy Chief Stipendiary Steward in Central Provinces on 1 October 2019.

The National Horseracing Authority wishes Mr Moodley well in his future endeavours, as well as extending its congratulations to Mr Hutcheson in his new position.
