The Trippi entire is trained by Sean Tarry, who holds the record for the most Grade 1 wins in Scottsville history on 13, one more than Dennis Drier.
Chimichuri Run comes off a fine fourth place finish in the Grade 2 IOS Drill Hall Stakes over 1400m where he jumped from a tough draw of nine and ran on in eyecatching style.
That signaled a form return considering there were five other Grade 1 winners in the field and he beat four of them.

There is the feeling that Chimichuri Run has lost some of his pace recently.
However, he is currently merit rated 115, which is effectively seven points lower than the mark he won the race off.
It is also ten points lower than the mark he ran off last year where he finished an unlucky one length fifth.
Tarry appeared to favour the chances of one of his other runners Eden Roc (Var), who is also a Grade 1 winner at Hollywoodbets Scottsville and who finished a quarter of a length second last year.
He was bullish about the Var entire’s chances at the weights considering his record at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.
Indeed, he comes in just half-a-kilogram under sufferance off a merit rating of 111, which is seven points lower than he ran off last year.
He will be no less than 8.5kg better off with reigning champion and topweight Battle Force for a quarter-of-a-length beating last year.
He has been off form but back at his favourite course could well bounce back.
Eden Roc has shortened into 10/1 for the big race.
It is fitting both horses will be running in the Yellow, purple stars, yellow cap and purple star colours of the course sponsor Hollywoodbets, having been bought when former owner Chris van Niekerk dispersed most of his racehorses.
Tarry’s other runner Warrior’s Rest (What A Winter) is also a former winner of this race and will also run in the Hollywood colours. He also comes in well weighted on his best form but is the 40/1 biggest outsider.
