Race 1
Race Summary: A TIME TO FLOWER is probably looking for a longer distance but an improved run is likely. BONIKA is clearly better than what she showed last time out and could be suited to this tighter track. MY MIA is also capable of better than what she showed last time out and could earn some money. OPEN SECRET is likely to improve on her debut and should be right there at the finish. PORQUE TE VAS has only found one better in both her starts to date and deserves a winning turn. Watch the betting on the newcomers.

Race 2
Race Summary: MASTERFUL GUY continues to hold his form nicely and from a good draw should be right there at the finish once again. DON REPOSADO is also well-drawn but does need to do a bit to beat these rivals, however, he could earn some money for the connections. RAINING AGAIN may have just needed the last run so could do a bit better this time. DELLA’S SWORD is in good form and could be ready to win. JURY DUTY has a tough draw for the jockey but could finish in the money once again.

Race 3
Race Summary: As this race is a maiden handicap, there should in theory be a very competitive finish. SILENT WAR is well drawn and could be ready to break the ice. Stable companion TCHAIKOVSKY returns from a break that saw him gelded. He does look a possible threat. JEM ROCK is well tried, having had 16 starts already. He is consistent and should contest the finish yet again. ELECTRIC WARRIOR returns from a break that saw him gelded and he could make vast improvement, so has to be considered.

Race 4
Race Summary: SHE’S A RAINBOW returns from a break but she is promising and if fit and well could win this. DUPLICITY does not always show her best side but is in good heart and should be right there at the finish. LONG WHITE CLOUD was disappointing when beaten by rival OSCAR’S WINNER but is clearly better than that run suggests and cannot be dismissed. The latter won nicely last time out and could be improving. WARM WELCOME was not disgraced when just behind OSCAR’S WINNER in that race and has a winning chance as well.

Race 5
Race Summary: A tough race to find the winner and it could pay to go as wide as possible in the exotics. FYNBOS does not always show her best side and is badly drawn but is not out of it if putting her best foot forward. GOLDEN DAH is usually not too far behind and from a good draw has a winning chance. APACHE DREAM is consistent and deserves respect. Although none of Justin Snaith’s fillies in this race can be discarded from the exotics it might be NTINGA that serves him best this time round. FIELD OF VISION and ISLE OF THE WINDS are two others that won’t be surprise winners.

Race 6
Race Summary: MARGIN CALL was well beaten over shorter last time. This filly was a wide margin winner in her penultimate but the runner-up in that race has been a disappointment since. PANZANELLA looks to be improving but a wide draw will be testing over this course and distance. PEUT ETRE MOI got a deserved victory last time and that could give her the confidence to get her career to take off. EVERGLADES quickened nicely to win her last start and it would not be much of a surprise were she to prove ahead of the handicapper. TREASURE HUNT is consistent and has a winning chance.

Race 7
Race Summary: BRAMHALL PHOENIX ran well when runner-up behind rival TRAVEL MASTER. There is no real reason to suggest he won’t be right there at the finish once again. RAGNAR LOTHBROK was not too far behind in his last two starts and will probably be doing his best work late. Possibly looking for a bit further though. POLTERGEIST has been moderate since his maiden win but from a good draw has to be respected. TRAVEL MASTER is in good form and could be ahead of the handicapper even though he is carrying some penalties for his recent wins.

Race 8
Race Summary: An open-looking race and once again the advice is to dig deep and include many runners in the exotics. TRIVIAL MATTER won nicely last time out but is returning from a break and a recent gelding operation. Include him in all exotics. WHAT A MAN has not won for some time but has been consistent of late and is not out of it. FERRANDO won well last time out and he should not stop as a one-time winner. FIGHTER and PERSISTANCE have enough form to also rate with a winning chance.
