Picture: Vaughan Marshall and S’Manga Khumalo combined to win the last two races at today’s Hollywoodbets Durbanville meeting and the quick double was completed by Slurricane (Vercingetorix) (Wayne Marks).

 

Keagan de Melo, S’Manga Khumalo and Justin Snaith all scored trebles at Hollywoodbets Durbanville and Brett Crawford and Vaughan Marshall scored doubles.

De Melo opened his lead in the championship to six over Muzi Yeni. He is now on 41 winners for the season at a strike rate of 23,30%.

Khumalo is in third place on 31 winners at 17.51%.

Snaith leads the national trainer’s championship on stakes and has had 20 winners, the same number as Alan Greeff and the retired Paul Peter, and he has done it at 12.12%.

Brett Crawford has had 17 winners at 22.37%, the highest strike rate of the current top ten trainers.

Vaughan Marshall has had five winners at 9.09%.
