Champion Futura has enjoyed great success when mated to daughters of the late, great Trippi.
This cross has produced no fewer than six stakes winners, led by such graded stakes winners as Future Swing and Pink Tourmaline. The latter vanquished fellow Futura filly Light Of The Moon into second spot when she won the Track And Ball Oaks Gr 2, while Future Swing won a pair of graded features notably the World Sports Betting 1900 Gr 2.
Ten Einde will be offering a regally bred filly (Lot 24), bred on this potent pattern, at the upcoming October Two Year Old Sale. Below is a brief description of a filly bred to shine in features!
Lot 24: Futura f Miss Milanna
By the sire of both Hollywoodbets Durban July Gr 1 winner NOTE TO SELF and 2026 TAB SA Derby Gr 2 winning filly CURIOUS GIRL, this filly is a half-sister to the smart, stakes placed CIRCUMBENDIBUS. Her twice winning dam, by outstanding broodmare sire Trippi, is a half-sister to two black type horses led by Sun Met Gr 1 winning champion One World. The latter, who stands alongside Futura, is one of South Africa’s best young stallions with One World’s progeny headed by the globetrotting champion ONE STRIPE.
This filly is from an exceptional international family, with her third dam a full-sister to French classic winner Caerlina.
