The Justin Snaith-trained See It Again will be going for a fifth career Gr 1 victory at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday when he runs in the Gr 1 wfa Hollywoodbets Gold Challenge over 1600m.
All four of his Gr 1 wins to date have been over 2000m, but he has had two seconds and two thirds in wfa Gr 1s over a mile in his career, so he is effective over the shorter trip too.
Andrew Fortune rides the six-year-old Twice Over gelding from draw seven.
See It Again is at 7/2 with Hollywoodbets for the Gold Challenge, while the L’Ormarins King’s Plate winner The Real Price is at 4/1 and the reigning Equus Horse Of The Year Eight On Eighteen at also at 4/1.
Questioning will be out to land a first Gr 1 and is at 5/1.
Legal Counsel, runner up in the WSB Met to See It Again, is at 8/1.
Gr 1 wfa Wilgerbosdrift HF Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut Stakes-winner Tin Pan Alley is good value at 10/1 because all he needs to do is find cover and settle in order to have a fine chance. However, it won’t be easy from draw 11 out of 12.
Last year’s fast-finishing third placed finisher Gladatorian is at 10/1.
Dave The King is going for a third successive win of the race, but he is not being respected much out at 14/1.
Two former winners of the HF Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut Stakes over a mile, Main Defender and Cosmic Speed, are also not being respected at 25/1 and 33/1 respectively.
Jet Force is the only horse in the field rated below 120 and is a 33/1 shot.
Fire Attack has had an overall disappointing season and is also at 33/1.
Questioning and Tin Pan Alley look to be the best value.
