The latest star foaled and reared on the farm is Choisaanada, winner of the 2025 Highveld 3YO Winter Series. Other current standouts bred at Sandown include Gr 3 4Racing Jubilee Stakes hero Immediate Edge, along with promising runners like Chieftain’s Shield and Thisiswhatitmeans.
Sandown Stud will be offering, as agent, four well related two-year-olds at the Two-Year-Old Sale, and James Armitage had the following to say about this quartet:
Lot 44: Unnamed – Soqrat –Musaanada (colt):
By resident sire and Equus Champion Soqrat, this colt is a half-brother to the aforementioned Choisaanada, winner of all of the Gr 3 4Racing Sea Cottage Stakes, 4Racing Egoli Mile and Betway Secretariat Stakes last season. This is a lovely big athletic colt who has a good shape with a strong hindquarter.
Lot 99: Unnamed – Rafeef – Up Front (filly):
By the same sire as the top-class Sandown bred Outlaw King, this filly is a half-sister to five winners, including the Gr 3 placed Eau De Vie, and her dam finished runner up in the Gr 1 Allan Robertson Championship. Offered on account of La Berg Stud, this is a big, strong filly. She has a lot of substance, size and scope.
Lot 25: Unnamed – Erupt – Kinematic Countess (filly):
By the same sire as Taxhaven, Moonlight Trader, Karangetang and Mount Pinatubo, this filly’s dam won the Gr 3 Sycamore Sprint and her granddam won seven including the Listed KwaZulu-Natal Stakes. A scopey, athletic filly, she is a full sister to the highly thought of Karate Kid (MR 105)

By the very exciting young sire Hawwaam, this filly, a three-parts sister to a winner, is a half-sister to the smart King’s Express.
