The Klawervlei draft will attract a lot of attention as it always contains plenty of class

Klawervlei Stud, breeders of stars Vercingetorix, One World and Real Princess, will be offering a top-class draft at the Two-Year-Old Sale next month.

Their consignment includes progeny of South Africa’s reigning champion sire Vercingetorix, as well as two-year-olds sired by the likes of Gimmethegreenlight, Malmoos, and Querari.

Lot 13: Unnamed – Vercingetorix –Intergalactic (filly):
Bred on the same cross as champion Mrs Geriatrix, this filly shares her champion sire Vercingetorix with star fillies Double Grand Slam, Mia Moo, Mrs Geriatrix and Vernichey. Lot 60: Unnamed – Querari -Quite Frankly (colt):
By one of South Africa’s most consistently successful sires, this colt is a three-parts brother to Querari’s smart son Teflon Man. His dam is a daughter of unbeaten legend and multiple champion sire Frankel, whose broodmare daughters have already produced Gr 1 winners Lead Artist and Sparkling Plenty.

Lot 91: Unnamed – Vercingetorix -Thunder Dance (filly):
Bred on the same cross as graded stakes winners African Warrior, Quickstepgal and Rascallion, this filly is a full sister to last season’s Listed Irridescence Stakes winner Ukuduma.
