Bush Hill Stud as breeders and the late sire Lancaster Bomber were the only double scorers at the Vaal meeting today.

Lancaster Bomber, who stood at Drakenstein Stud and was last season’s champion freshman sire, scored with the David Nieuwenhuizen-trained Varsfontein Stud-bred Pressonregardless, who was ridden by Marco van Rensburg, and the Mark Khan-trained Bush Hill Stud-bred Douglas Dragon, who was ridden by Jarryd Penny.

Bush Hill Stud also bred the Phillip Labuschagne-trained winner Party Punch (New Predator), who was ridden by Philasande Mxoli.

Bush Hill have bred 21 winners of 36 races this season from 362 runs by 78 runners.

Lancaster Bomber’s 110 runners this season have had 663 runs and his 58 winners have won 86 races.
