R1     LATE DECEMBER (1) went close last time, is improving and looks ready to win. CUMBRE VIEJA (12) is getting along well with Oswald Noach and should go close again. SAIL THE SEAS (14) impressed on debut and could be absolutely anything. Expect a huge effort. SOUND OF THE SEA (11) has a huge place chance.
R2     MISS WORLD (6) ran behind Lion Rampart and can go one more. The Greg Ennion yard is in mustard form. SAHARA CAT (2) has won her last two impressively and can reel off the hat trick. POLYNOMIAL (1) ran a cracker on debut when winning and can remain unbeaten after this. KINDA WONDERFUL (4) can be expected to finish in the first four and is a must for the quartet.
R3     SPIRIT GUIDE (7) finished second last time and looks ready to get it all right. Sean Veale rides for the Kannemeyer yard. ANASA’S BOMB (9) showed tremendous improvement last time and if doing so again, will be the place value for the exacta position. CHAMPAGNE KISSES (12) was not far off on debut and can progress to get much closer now – place chance and PINK MOON (5) is a quartet suggestion.
R4    LOVE SHACK (4) is ultra – consistent and has strong each way claims. SHE’S MY CAPTAIN (5) won last time, Richard Flurie retains the ride and she can follow up – big chance. FIRST MASTERPIECE (1) is bidding for the hat trick and has an undeniable chance of achieving it. GIMMETHATPEARL (2) can surely do better than her last effort?
R5    PORQUE TE VAS (1) boasts solid, consistent form and rates the one they all have to fear the most. NORDIC CHIEF (2) has won two out of his last three and, again, has to be taken seriously. SWIFT ACTION (3) skated clear of Major Apollo to win last time and has a chance again – each way claims. DEAN STREET (5) is the place value selection for the quartet.
R6    SUGAR MOUNTAIN (8) has run in some strong features recently and rates the one to be with. He is making us wait for his next win, but today could be the day – big win chance. ZAPATILLAS (3) is another taking time to win again but is always there and thereabouts and is a must for everything. RAPIDASH (9) can be forgiven for his last run and judged on penultimate win and PORT LOUIS (1) from the best draw, can earn.
R7     ONE STRIPE (1) is very good and a possible banker on the card! Win choice! TALK TO THE MASTER (6) the stable mate can be expected to be closing him down near the finish and is the exacta selection. ALL OUT FOR SIX (3) is winning well for Ashton Arries and could reel off the hat trick. SURGE OF POWER (2) has a strong place chance and should be right there.
R8     NORDIC QUEST (2) is holding her form and is the one they all have to beat. She is doing very well. FLYING V (1) is never far adrift the winners and is the value suggestion for all bets. KYLAMI GIRL (5) never runs a bad race and has the usual each way claims and GIRL LIKE US (8) nearly won her last start and can go one more today – bright chance.
R9     RAINBOW LORIKEET (5) can do way better than her last run (which was far from disgraceful) – has solid overall form and can win. SALVATOR MUNDI (2) is never far off the action and should be able to make his presence felt in this – he is, however, taking time win again. TIME FOR LOVE (6) and OTTO LUYKEN (7) are naturals for the quartet perms.
R10    BATON ROUGE (2) is running well, proving to be fairly useful and comes into this race with very strong each way claims. TWICE THE MASTER (3) goes well for rider Noach and can never be ignored from any bets – big runner. DAIMYO (6) caught the eye in his post maiden run and can go close. MOHANDAS (1) has a quartet chance.
