Lot 2 is a filly by Futura out of an Australian-bred family, whose members included Curved Ball, winner of the Dingaans. (Cape Racing Sales)
Narrow Creek Stud, breeders of Isivunguvungu et all, send yearlings by an interesting array of stallion to market in early June. They will be going to the Cape Racing Winter Yearling Sale at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on 6 June 2024.
They are offering two Futura fillies and a Buffalo Bill Cody (Lot 13) out of the Right Approach mare, Honey Bunch who is a half- sister to stayers, Sweetie Pie and Treaj Pots (see picture below).
Futura (a son of Dynasty) is becoming a notable influence for stamina, and he has been mated with Aussie mare, Explosive Beauty who won at around a mile. Third dam Curvaceous threw Dingaans winner, Curved Ball. This is her first foal, and she goes into the ring early as Lot 2.
Lot 22, Kim Kay is also a first foal out of Argentinian mare Keara with loads of Black Type from second dam, Krysia who won Gr1’s in Argentina, right down the page in a truly international mix (see picture below).
