Lyle Hewitson had a winner at Sha Tin yesterday (Sunday) on the Chris So-trained Not Usual Star and this puts him in lone fourth place on the island jockeys log, although he is 12 wins behind third-placed Silvestre de Soua and 21 behind second-placed CY Ho and 58 behind leader Zak Purton.
He is three wins ahead of Karis Teetan, who has had a curtailed season but is climbing the log rapidly, and six in front of Luke Ferraris.
Hewitson’s rides have grossed HK$26,701,975 in stakes this season.
