WHITE FANG and ARLINGTON ACTION fought out a head-bobbing finish last time and meet over the same course and distance and with no weight difference. Good race expected. CAPTAIN CHORUS will enjoy the extra and could get into the mix. SUDDEN STAR is looking for his sixth career win but stable companion GREAT AFFAIR, in receipt of 6kg, could give him a run for his money. AFRAAD and INDIAN WAR DANCE could make the frame.

IPHIKO has matured and completed a hat-trick over this track and trip last time. He could add another to the sequence. Many are capable of taking advantage if she has an off day. Included are stablemates CHYAVANA, SHELDON and BIG EYED GIRL who all have ability. Three year-olds TAIKONAUT and FLOWERBOMB are useful and could feature fresh. ROZARA could get into the reckoning.

CAPTAIN PEG is unbeaten and is looking to make it four from four. However, she will be tested. READY TO FLY was under a length off her on their debut meeting but is 2kg better off. ROCK THE FOX did well in a KZN feature and had ORARARI GOLD not far adrift. Both should get into the action if cherry-ripe. Money poured on MORAINE when she won on debut but she has been rested and races in new surroundings. COLDHARDSTARE, NONE OTHER and QUANTUM are looking for minor money.

BLESS MY STARS found traffic problems in a KZN feature and was a touch unlucky, however, she races in new surroundings after a rest and has a wide draw to contend with. PROPHET has the edge over QUANTUM THEORY and LAGUNA VERDE on collateral form but improvement could come into it. Others are looking for Quartet money.

Competitive. If DUKE OF RAIN puts it in then he could take it. FIRE LORD is on a hat-trick and cannot be ignored. FIFTH OF JULY is 1kg better off with ROMEO’S MAGIC for a 0.60-length beating. It could get close. ELUSIVE SWANN should be on top of them on collateral form. PLAYER looks to have plenty more to offer after a maiden win. Respect. TABEBUIA and TWIN TURBO could get into the money.

ASTRIX races fresh in new surroundings but could make the frame over this trip. PERFECT WITNESS is in receipt of 10kg and could be hard to topple. OUTOFTHEDARKNESS carries 1kg more and should contest the finish. SUPER SILVINO comes off a rest but cannot be ignored for exotics. PAMUSHANA’S PRIDE, ZEUS, CORNISH POMODORO and IRISH TRACTOR could just need it.

MAGICAL FLIGHT just did what was necessary to win this track and trip last time. She could double up. PATON’S TEARS finds problems but if racing comfortable could take the honours. HOLLYWOODBOUND is running close up and from pole position, should be involved in the finish. CLAFOUTIS and stablemate MIKE’S CHICK, as well as SISTER LIGHT are capable of winning fresh.

TWICE AS WILD tries a little further and could chalk up a deserved 2nd win. GILDA GRAY never got going last time but should do better. STRANGE MAGIC escaped the maiden ranks with a facile victory and could follow up. PETUNIA found problems last time but has a decent draw and could settle early and challenge at the business end. SECONDA ERRORE pulled up fatigued last time but could prefer this trip. HIGH ROLLER wasn’t disgraced in her post-maiden.
