The May 19 log for the 2022 CTS Farm Sale race has been published. The 1200m race, scheduled for 15 June at Kenilworth, will be contested for a stake of R400,000, doubling its previous purse.

Glen Kotzen-trained colt Grinkov (Twice Over) still tops the log ahead of We’re Jamming (Duke Of Marmalade), who has moved to Justin Snaith’s stable following his Cape Of Good Hope Nursery over 1200m in February, and a subsequent change of ownership.

The next five runners on the log (positions 5 -7) remain the same as it’s been since the first log was released on 28 April, with a notable mover Scalini (Pomodoro), from outside of the log into 9th spot following a smart midweek debut at Kenilworth to Yellowporscheroad.

Scalini just edged out last week’s best mover Vesuvio, a colt by Erupt from Tyrone Zackey’s yard. Vesuvio followed a fair debut run with a workmanlike win over 1200m.

Fur Baby (Ideal World), comes into the log at Number 18 following a fair debut in midweek behind Star In Winter, also in midweek.
