Preview: NIGHT KING (2) has shown enough to be the first choice here and can still improve for an in form yard. JET CAT (1) has a good opportunity to finally get off the mark in his 20th start and should go close. MARACA GINGER (3) has finished quite close to Jet Cat on a couple of occasions and can earn here. (David Thiselton 2-1-3)
Preview: SPANISH SONG (1) was a touch disappointing last time but has pace and the ability to win here. QUICK RUN (2) looks to be the one of the chief runners in this uninspiring field. LA FILLE (5) can earn in this race. AMALFI COAST (6) showed last time and can do so again. SMELTING (3) is usually thereabouts and could earn again.

Preview: BELLA CHICA (4) is only a two-year-old but won well last time after being sat on before running on and the time compared favourably on the same day to a race of this class. BELLE OF BELIZE (5) has a 1.5kg claimer up and is capable of better than last time when losing two lengths at the start and the blinkers being removed might help her start quicker. ZODIAC PRINCESS (6) was beaten just 0,75 lengths by Belle Of Belize when they last met and is half-a-kilogram better off. (David Thiselton 4-5-6)
Preview: TIME SPIRIT (7) made a good debut over 1600m and although he is by What A Winter he is a half-brother to Listed Derby Trial winner Gift For The Gap and to the seven-time winning stayer Arte so should enjoy the step up in trip. STAR EFFECT (2) ran a good race over 2000m last time and can go close here with a repeat. NUSSPLY (1) is a long-time maiden but usually earns and could be the chief threat although he appears to prefer 1600m. (David Thiselton 7-2-1)
Preview: SOPHIA’S FIRST (4) has been knocking on the door and the form of her last run has worked out quite well so she is the one to beat from pole position. TWO FOOLS COLLIDE (1) enjoyed the step up in trip to 1600m last time and just failed to lead from start to finish and can improve on that performance over this 200m further trip but she does have a wide draw to overcome. PRINCESS THIANA (2), who is a full-sister to Legal Eagle, enjoys this trip and can still improve. (David Thiselton 4-1-2)
Preview: READYSETGLO (6) is well drawn and has a fine chance if repeating her last start over this course and distance. PUTIN’S PROMISE (5) was raised four points for her win over 1160m and also enjoys this trip so has a chance under the champion apprentice elect. SEKHMET (14) is drawn in pole and should enjoy this distance. LOVE POSY (12) ran well first time out the maidens over 1600m and should enjoy this trip too from a good draw. CAPETOWN AFFAIR (4) has some fair form from 1100m up to 1600m so should handle the step down in trip. THE MAKWAKKERS (9) is in good form and has won over 1600m before so will enjoy this trip although he has a wide draw to overcome.

Preview: RAINY SEASON (3) overraced early last time when rushed into the leading line and has the ability to do better so he could be the one to side with from draw seven with an accomplished apprentice aboard. SERGEI (1) is 2kg better off with Rainy Season for a one length beating over 1800m. DARK VISION (4), who is by Visionaire, is out of a mare who has produced two Grade 1 winners, Woolavington 2000 winner Viva Maria and Golden Horse Sprint winner Warrior’s rest, so the step up in trip might augur well or it might not but if he does stay he has a fine chance. RABIA THE REBEL (11) ran second on Saturday over this trip from a similarly wide draw so can be a contender. FRED (2) is distance suited and is capable of better than last time. (David Thiselton 3-1-4-11-2)
Preview: FUNKY MUSIC (11), who is by Capetown Noir and is a half-brother to Running Brave, is in fine form and can overcome a three point raise for his last win over 1450m and he should stay this trip. VALETORIO (4) is capable of a strong finish so can be dropped out from a wide draw and he recently proved he stays this trip when running on from last for third place. DUAL AT DAWN (2) is talented and will appreciate the step up in trip although it is his second run after a layoff of more than a year. (David Thiselton 11-4-2-10-1)
