JUSTIN Vermaak’s Green Street Bloodstock chalked up a second winner in Singapore when Street Party won a Maiden Contest over 1200m at Kranji on Friday for trainer James Peters and jockey Michael Rodd.
Street Party, who races for the partnership of Green Street along with Singapore-based Guy Shirtliff (son of Marsh), Kathryn and Lindsay Ralphs, Wehann Smith and Mark Bass, ran on well to win by half a length and now boasts a bank roll of $84,000 after four runs for a win and 3 places.
Peters said: “He could be a Guineas horse in time.”
Vermaak commented: “I am thrilled for Green Street Bloodstock clients. I loved this colt at the Magic Millions Sale and got him for $25k, he has now earned $84k. As promised, you can turn your passion into profit with GSB International. We said Singapore was the place to race for money but we understand talk is cheap, now you can see that Green Street buys the whiskey!”
Street Party is a son of the AP Indy stallion Congrats (USA), who stands at Vinery Stud, New South Wales.
