WE’re launching our Turf Talk Racing Syndicate today with a daughter of new stallion Irish Flame, the internationally performed son of Dynasty, pictured in our headline photo.

Secured by Grant Knowles of Klawervlei for Turf Talk readers, this unnamed two-year-old filly is by a son of SA’s champion stallion from a super female line.

Her dam, Queen Kastanea, by Tiger Ridge, is a half-sister to Scribblin’ The Cat, the dam of Met and Queen’s Plate winner Futura, and the extended female line goes through the likes of Angelina, Winter Fox, Heartwood and Bold Vixen. (See pedigree on link below).

Knowles tells:  “This filly was born at Clifton Stud and came to Klawervlei via a client. She’s a nice, racy specimen, all woolly and rough still so we’ll send a photo later, but a nice prospect indeed and a good opportunity for smaller owners to get involved. We’ve pulled her of the forthcoming Klawervlei Farm Sale to syndicate for Turf Talk.

“She looks a forward type of filly, should come to hand quickly and will go into training mid to end August. The syndicate members can decide on her name and agree on a suitable trainer.”

We’re syndicating her in 12 shares, on a first come, first served basis, and the price will include three months of keep and spelling at Klawervlei. Members of the old freeracer syndicates will know that we tailored packages and acquired the best possible horses to ensure a great run of winners in 2010/11, and we intend to do the same here.

Interested parties can mail editor@turftalk.co.za for more information. Here’s a chance to get involved in an exciting world and we’ll ensure you enjoy the benefits that go with ownership.
