Top racing photographer of decades experience, John Lewis, posted a group of photographs taken in the Mauritzfontein Stud veld recently with the accompanying text: “In racing you will often hear a commentator saying that horses are fighting out a finish stride for stride, I often find that when photographing two horses that are moving close together, even foals with their mothers, their strides are totally synchronised.”
