Zac Lloyd made a dream start to his riding career when his very first ride was a winner at Dalby in Australia on Friday.
The 17-year-old son of legendary SA rider Jeff Lloyd was admittedly riding an odds-on favourite who came home lonely, but it still could not have gone better.
What a thrill!

And the day got even better for the Lloyd family when their other son, 19-year-old Jaden was victorious in both races two and four.
Them genes run deep…..
But Zac Lloyd was brought back to earth, literally, in the final race of the day – with the youngster experiencing the highs and lows of racing in the space of his first few hours of race riding.
Piloting the $2.30 favourite in race seven, Palicki, Lloyd was unseated 50m after the start but thankfully avoided injury in the fall.
