CHAMPION jockey Lyle Hewitson and KZN veteran Stuart Randolph, injured in crashing falls at Scottsville on Sunday, both hope to be riding again soon.

Hewitson has some soft tissue damage to his left knee and commented on Monday: “I am feeling a bit better than yesterday. The doctor’s prognosis was a sprain and some soft tissue damage. So I’m just applying ice and doing as much compression as I can. I don’t expect to be out for long.”

Randolph expressed similar sentiments to David Thiselton of Gold Circle, saying that he has soft tissue damage in his shoulder but that he wanted to start riding work again later this week.
