TRAINER Justin Snaith withdrew top runner Elusive Silva from the 2017 Vodacom Durban July late on Thursday afternoon. In a blow for his owners, the The Gr3 Cup Trial winner is lame off fore.
Elusive Silva’s place will be taken by Candice Bass-Robinson’s three-year-old, Horizon, this year’s first reserve and a first July runner for prominent Rustenburg farmer Piet du Toit.
Bass-Robinson has declared Richard Fourie, originally carded for Elusive Silva, to ride Horizon.
