TELLYTRACK’s in-form racing analyst Dominic Zaki has tipped well-paying Bi-Pots, Place Accumulators and a Pick 6 at the last two weekend meetings at Turffontein (which seem an awfully long time away). He’s hoping to continue his winning run at Sunday’s twilight meeting, which promises significant payouts after a rain-soaked week and with the track condition declared as soft.
For those who missed Under Starters Orders this morning, Zaki has built his permutations around two bankers, being Atrevete in Race 3 and Protea Paradise in Race 8.
The former was green on debut but ran on strongly for a 1.40-length beating by Ocean City – a formline that has already produced three quick winners. Also, Atrevete’s task is easier following the scratching of ante-post favourite Hartleyfive (scroll down for full scratchings sheet).
We’re on the same page as “Dom The Bomb” with Atrevete, also with Protea Paradise, who looks hard to oppose as the highest rated runner in an Assessment Plate (Race 8) over 2000m. He was beaten in the last stride by stablemate Atyaab last time – the winner went on to win the Gr1 Cape Derby which illustrates what should be a powerful line of form.
Zaki’s also feels strongly about the well-bred Gin Fizz (Race 1), and his roughies Talktothestars (Race 4) and Cathedral County (Race 7) warrant consideration.
Here are Zaki’s Bi-Pot and Place Accumulator:
2,5 x 10 x 2,4,7 x 3,4 x 1,3,6 x 2,3,6,9
Place Accumulator (R216)
10 x 2,4,7 x 3,4 x 1,3,6 x 2,3,6,9 x 3 x 1,2,11
