BLOODSTOCK SA’s first online auction is open to buyers from today, Friday 5 June, until Thursday, 11 June.
There are 103 entries to the first auction, and you can look at the catalogue here, and follow bidding as it unfolds.
You can register to bid by going to the ‘SIGN IN’ option on the auction’s website.
The starting bid for all lots is R5,000.
Yearling graduates bought from BSA’s online sales can also qualify for BSA’s popular Value Added Stakes Incentive Scheme, while an exciting diversification is the added component of sport horses from other equestrian disciplines.
“We have all sorts of horses on this first auction – yearlings, mares, weanling, fillies coming off the track and even three showjumpers. The sports horse side will grow as the auctions become more popular,” said BSA’s Alistair Gordon.
The catalogue shows a wide variety of thoroughreds by leadings sires, with the likes of Master Of My Fate, Twice Over, Futura, Rafeef and Querari represented, alongside mares by the likes of Captain Al, Jet Master, Western Winter and National Emblem and others.
“This has been an incredibly tough year and our online auctions in this time will give sellers an opportunity to get some cash, and buyers have a chance to secure very good bloodstock at prices they probably won’t see again.”
