GAINESWAY Farm’s outstanding sire Tapit is no stranger to enjoying huge success, with the son of Pulpit having headed the US General Sires List for the past three years running, smashing his own previous records in the past two seasons.

Tapit took his tally of stakes winners that much closer to 100 this weekend, when he was represented by three individual Graded Stakes winning three-year-olds on Saturday.

First of the Tapit sired sophomores to land a graded feature this past Saturday was the well bred Dream Dancing, who ran on from off the pace to land the G3 Herecomesthebride Stakes at Gulfstream Park on turf.

Gulfstream Park also saw promising Tapit colt Ticonderoga pick up the first feature win of his career when successful in the G3 Palm Beach Stakes on the turf. The Chad Brown trained colt also came with a late rattle to land the Palm Beach by a length. An $850 000 yearling buy, the colt is now likely to be pointed towards the G1 Belmont Derby Invitational on July 8th. He is the latest in a long line of high class turf performers sired by Tapit, with this list including the above mentioned Dream Dancing, Breeders’ Cup winner Tapitsfly, and G1 winners Ring Weekend and Time And Motion.

However, arguably most impressive of all the Tapit three-year-olds seen out this season thus far, is brilliant filly Unique Bella. The latter made it win number four from just five outings when waltzing home to an effortless 2.25 length score, over G1 winner Abel Tasman, in Saturday’s G3 Santa Ysabel Stakes at Santa Anita Park.

Unique Bella, currently favourite for the 2017 G1 Kentucky Oaks, has now three graded wins to her name –and she has won her last three outings by more than 18 lengths.

Tapit, also sire of Saturday’s impressive winning 3yo Inheritthewind, has already been represented by seven stakes winners in 2017 thus far –with the promise of plenty more to come!

Klawervlei’s exciting young sire Coup De Grace is the only son of this legendary sire at stud in South Africa.

Himself an exceptionally well bred sire, G1 performer Coup De Grace was one of the best of his generation in North America, where his wins included both the G2 Amsterdam Stakes and G3 Bay Shore Stakes.
