Gold Cup day has arrived and Justin Snaith has some exciting runners today at Greyville.
Here are some comments from the stable:
Native Tongue (1): Improving with each run and loves this surface. Must have an each way chance.
Pinkerton (1): Hasn’t done well in KZN this season but capable on his day and should run well.
Wild Coast (1): Disappointing last time out. Needs to improve on current form.
Keep The Lights On (2): On the sharp side for her but she does enjoy the Poly and hoping for improvement.
It’s About Time (4): Had a disappointing KZN campaign so far. Hoping for improvement if he has some luck from the wide draw.
Gaudis Masterpiece (6): Terrific run last time out but faces far stronger here. Very competitive field and hoping he can sneak into the money in this Gr1.
Bayberry (7)
Doublemint (7): Needs to improve on current form and huge weight.
Silver Host (7): Very smart stayer and if he has some luck from the wide draw he will go very close despite the big weight he is carrying. Include in all bets.
Kasimir (8): Back to best and must be respected despite wide draw. Include in all bets.
*Rio Querari (8):* Hasn’t won at course yet but is untouchable this season. Will take some beating.
Crown Towers (9): Back over a favourable trip and will improve.
*Do It Again (9):* Very unlucky in the Vodacom July. If he gets a clear run, he is the horse to beat. Gotthegreenlight is the danger.
Jet Dark (9): This is his second run after a long break. If he stays the trip he could surprise in a very competitive Gr1 event.
