“TAKINGTHEPEACE is fit and well and she’ll be right there today,” Mathew de Kock said about the Mike de Kock stable’s popular Gr1 winner who will contest Race 3 over 1800m on the inside track today.

“She’s come on from her last run (4.30-lengths behind Cascapedia in a Gr3 feature after a rest) and we’re looking forward to her run,” he added.

Mathew noted about the stable’s other key runners:

“Fariha (Race 2) is a nice filly, should be in the first three.

“The Dazzler (Race 7) comes off a break and a wind operation, but he is doing well and has a Quartet chance.”

“La Linea (Race 8), will need it after a long rest, and she’s drawn wide. Place prospects at best.”

“Mutrib (Race 9), should stay all day and we may have found the right race for him here, he has a good chance today.”

“Anjob (Race 10) has a strong eachway chance in what looks like a moderate field.”

*Andrew Bon’s interview package is not available today, but please follow link to last week’s interviews which includes the De Kock feature runners, Geoff Woodruff and Sean Tarry.
