ANY jockey who wants to make an impression wants to do it on a big race day and it all came together for jockey Chase Maujean, who posted a fine hat-trick on Summer Cup Day at Turffontein.

Chase Maujean, in top form.

Maujean said: “First of all I would like to thank everyone for their support this season. First up was the die hard Queen Of Soul a big thanks to Mr and Mrs Sham and my loyal supporters the Stonebridge Family.

“Next up was True To Life who showed class against her field a big thanks to Johan Janse Van Vuuren and his team and thank you to Mr and Mrs Wernars for the opportunity.

“Last but not least the old girl Bondiblu who dug down deep in a hard fought win a big thanks to Mr Marwing and to all the lovely ladies (especially for all the kisses) God Bless To All!”

Maujean occupies 7th spot on the National log with 43 winners this season.
